Our group of 7 C2C'ers stayed at the Allenheads Inn, in Allenheads, obviously, on September 18th this year. What a fantastic place to stay. The owners & staff made our stay so memorable, they are caring, friendly & very hospitable. The locals were great too, with many a tale to tell, some of which had us all in hysterics!!!
The beer is good & the food is fantastic, the evening meals were huge & all freshly prepared, as was the superb English breakfast the following morning.
The Inn provides secure cycle storage & in my opinion was the best place we stayed at during our 3 day C2C.

We stayed at the Allenheads Inn on our c2c May 2009, and it is still Great, the beer was well kept, there is a pool table and darts board. The locals are v,friendly. The breakfast was excellent too as was the meals, mainly pies etc. It was reasonably priced too. Bikes where all kept safe in the lock-up. Oh and there is a Piano if you can play.
