Again, on the Memory-Map and came across a decent ride for June hols. Seeing that I'm going to the York Cycle Show for the Fri/Sat/Sun, I might be pushing it heading to the Lakes and back for York. Probably do the C2C on a long week-end instead.
So I thought of this one, head off down the Esk Valley to Whitby, then down the Yorkshire Coastline to Hornsea. Do the Hornsea Trail to Hessle, pick up the White Rose Cycle route. Thru York and northwards to Teesside, back home for change of gear and bike, with bit of luck get to York for the Friday. Hope to get a Dawes Giro 400 and sell the road bike I have at the moment.
Looks a bit easier to cycle.
