I would just like to say many thanks to Paul at Norcroft B&B in Penrith.
We completed the C2C in 3 days 20/21/22/10/07.

A group from Oxclose & District Young Peoples Project, 3 members of staff and 10 young people.

12 cyclists and a mini bus driver.

Paul was very helpful both before and during our stay having plenty of good advice and local knowledge.

He even booked a meal for us in town and arranged for a TV in the restraunt to watch the rugby.

Highly recommended.

Thanks

Martin, Gina & Sean.

I've used Norcroft BB many years ago doing the C2C, I would'nt stay there again. The bloke who owns it never spoke me for some unknown reason, which I find strange. Apart from showing me my room. Nevertheless lovely place to stay.

Paul has only been at the Norcroft for a couple (or three) of years and seems to be a decent bloke. I doubt that the fella in question is Paul so I reckon your safe to stay again!

Didn't know the previous owner so can't say much about your lack of welcome then though.
