Not really putting in the miles, like I should be. I have another 7 weeks to tone up, although I'm still doing the 60 miles a week going to work, shops and did 20 miles on the Kara-Kum which felt like heaven.

This morning I discovered a sore on my botty, guess what another boil and blind one too. I'm blaming me undies for the chafe, there are the worst one's to heal. Oh well, a slap of Sudocrem should do it. Wish I had got some of the cheap cycling shorts in Aldi on Thursday, mind you Tesco's do sell cycling shorts for about £8.

Thanks for the tip, John. Bib shorts seem to be the in-thing for touring nowadays, keep the lower back nice and warm Smile . Can't be too careful about yer kidneys. The trouble is the toilet business Embarassed
