hi 11 of us are doing the c2c in may whilst reading everybodies tips and advice which we have taken on board our support driver badger would like advice here is a list but all tips and advice would be gratful
what do drivers do whilst lads are cycling any decent meeting points. we hope to do as much off road as possible
what do you use for communications , mobile phones /walky talkies anyway just any useful info would be most grateful cheers

best to plan your meeting points at places wheres theres shops etc and walkie talkies are the dogs but your may get limited sisnal in some places because of the hills.and dont forget to charge em each night.

tbh, we use a support car everytime, and by god, does it help..... its a boring job for a single person, but depending on accomodation etc, i guess you can a mate could do it (just for the company really)

give me dates, route etc etc of when ya doing the c2c, and ill plan some meeting points for you...

let me know if you have sat nav, and i'll include other points if this is the case.

hi thanks for advice we dont have sat/nav the route we are doing is as follows whitehaven - keswick keswick- alston alston - parkhead stanhope then stanhope- sunderland we hope to cover as much off-road as possible so any further info would be very welcome thanks

sat nav would be a great help, so see if you can get a loan of one for the weekend. failing that the route your taking is the one we took the first year we did it, and seems fairly easy to follow/meet up by car
