Been tempted by the Boardman Comp, had a nice write-up in the magazine. Also drooling over it in Halfords, can you put mud guards on.

aye ,write up is good, also the brakes had write up in mag,said they were good value but can be a little grabby but will stop from any speed,still aint ridden it because of ar**, _________________ camping out on the edge of reality

had 3rd operation on back passage yesterday so that another 3 months with no bike,cant see me doin c2c this year at all the way things are goin. _________________ camping out on the edge of reality

I also suffered with this for several years, had it lanced and packed several times without success.
In the end i had it operated on, the surgeon cut out a small egg shaped bit of skin containing the tricky little hair follicles and sewed the hole together.
I used to get it at least once a year but it's now four years on and it's never happened since.
The worst time was when the infection was golf ball sized and a junior doctor lanced it without anaethetic, my missus was watching and she had to leave to be sick. How we laughed!.
You're right about the Boardman bikes, they do look good.
