my grand tour by mickf

Hi guys,

I've started to write an account of my Grand Tour. 1400 miles over 3 weeks, covering Scotland, Northern England, and Wales, then back to Cornwall.

I kept a log of it all, and am in the process of writing up a fair copy. As and when my Editor-in-chief can keep up, I'll post bits on my new blog:
www.my-grand-tour.blogspot.com

It will be added to day by day, so keep checking in!

Thanks for the plug, John!

I've taken a few days off from writing - I'm still decorating the living room!

I'll be back on the story middle of next week.

So far, I've 'done' Scotland and worked my way over to Whitby by way of Alston, Barnard Castle, Grinton, Great Ayton, Danby and Lealholm.

Next is Whitby to Ripon and Leyland, then down to N Wales for Snowdonia and south via Brecon Beacons to Cheddar to Cornwall.

Make me tired again, just thinking about it!

Thanks for the plugs, John!

Updated again a day or two ago. Made it to Snowdonia, next to work my way further west, then southeast diagonally across Wales.
