I don't think John has never got over the David Essex lookalike in my previous avatar. So here is a full sized one, less of the micky taking.     :o

And this is me when i did the Coast to Coast walk last May.     :o

For all you young souls who missed the fab 70's, here is a clip of the real Mr. Essex. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ACdwWwZ5 ... re=related

That's one of me, in a guest house, Blackpool. This was in Oct 1978 and was with me mate, he was doing the same thing. but he was holding a Elvis poster instead a paper, he was a big Elvis fan at the time. The thing on our heads is Smurf cap, the Smurfs had a number 2 record called the "Smurf Song". and the paper I'm holding is a New Musical Express with Dave Bowie on the cover with his mouth open, I'm doing a impression of him. We were in Blackpool for a fortnight and getting pissed up nearly every night, also went to a Strip-Joint   and boy we had some hang-overs. But we enjoyed it and spend a fortune about £300, which 30 years ago was a lot of cash. Nowadays I've settled down and really am a Tee-Totaller. I would'nt mind going back to Blackpool, on the bike and cycle down the Golden Mile.

I'm not going to enlarge the Avator, to save the embarrassment. But this is one of me in the Lounge, Black Tower. Dig the checked shirt  Anyway, John. What were you doing in 1978.

I still like Mud, saw there twice at the Club Fiesta, Norton, Stockton on Tees. Good band and was sad to hear about Les Gray who died, great showman he was. I like to see Mud on UTube doing "Rocket" Abigail Rocket Blast :?:
