c2c at easter?

Postby suziec on Thu Dec 06, 2007 4:29 pm

Hi all,

We are thinking of doing the c2c at again next year. We were thinking of easter weekend but as this is in march (back end) I was just wondering if its a good idea?

All feedback welcome and anyones thoughts on this.

yeh, agree with John. The way the weather has been this year, it's a case of taking your chances whenever you go and make the most of it. All the seasons seem to be mixing in together nowadays, no spring, summer, autumn, winter anymore. Just poke your head out of the window in the morning and see what you've been given for the day.The only downside to the end of march is that it could still be quite wintry on the hilltops, over Hartside for example. It's a totally different climate up there as you will know. then again it could be glorious sunshine  Sorry for waffling on a bit, suppose the best advice I could give is organise the trip , then watch the regional weather forcast nearer the time and be prepared for the worst weather, clothing etc, and you'll not go far wrong.Sure you could phone someone to pick you all up if it got too bad and you didn't want to continue
