Hi Suzie.
With a bit of luck, could be joining you and the crowd.
I may be doing the Hadrian's Wall Cycle Way and could meet up at Whitehaven for the return trip to the North-East Coast. All depends on getting that date and how the trip will work out, guessing 2 days to Whitehaven and 3 days back. This will be based on camping ofcause.

SuzieC / Agileman....
When you say EASTER, do you have any confirmed dates!
A support vehicle is recommended, (we've had one past two years), and it saves you carrying loads of stuff on ya bike/panniers... decreasing mileage per day..
A well organised support vehicle, packed with supplies (interubes, spare tyres, drink, food - fruit and choc etc etc) will be welcomed at your stops. Spoke to smudge, but it will be a majority vote on whether or not you need one (to be honest, the idea came around when Smudge mentioned getting back over for the car after the ride). All i would ask is each person contribute a small fee (approx £4), which would cover both my 2nd night accomodation (i'll stay with friends on the 1st night in keswick) and the petrol for the car. Based on 20 people in the group, thats £80. This will also cover the cost for any supplies you may need as well and i can supply these as i have a lot from last year (which we bought)

you sure?
last year we have to get a support driver last minute, (ie: day before c2c), and the car he drove back was insured for ANY DRIVER. We did not have to name him on any policy?
just 3rd party like
