After completing the C2C last weekend I can't recommend Brathen B&B highly enough.

We started from Whitehaven on Saturday and cycled to Greystoke in the most miserable weather imaginable. After stopping several times just to get the feeling back into our soaked feet and hands we eventually got to Greystoke to be met with the warmest of welcomes and the offer of our wet gear to be tumble dried immediately. Mike phoned up to book us into the pub for dinner while we put our bikes in the garage.

Breakfast the next morning was outstanding and set us up perfectly for the 2nd leg of our journey.
