Another Tour of the Yorkshire Dale & Moors!

Postby agileman on Sun Aug 31, 2008 9:21 pm

Well, the bad news is I never set off to do the double coast to coast this morning. probably a mixture of being a bit tired & wet weather (any excuse  )

The good news is I've been on the Memory Map and someone on another cycling forum gave me a hint of a idea, is I will do a tour of the Yorkshire Dales & Moors and still finish at Robin Hood's Bay..

So watch out for a full write-up and photos next week, unless I'm still in bed :D

Bad luck there Agileman. You were right not to set off if you never felt up for it.

I am sure you will enjoy your trip when you have rested.

Think it must be the year for bad luck, I've been planning a double-double all year, W2W-C2C-Reivers-Hadrians over 10 days, had a couple of weekends away getting some distance in, was feeling fighting fit, all accommodation booked, due to set off this Friday, then last Thursday I tripped in a pothole & ended up in casualty, they said its a bad sprain & just to rest, I've been keeping my fingers crossed but I think I'll have to admit defeat, its still very bruised & swollen walking is a challenge never mind cycling 600 miles.
Maybe next year.
